The Registrar of the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN), Alhaji Babagana Mustapha, has inaugurated the Board’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) as part of efforts to strengthen accountability and institutional integrity.
In his remarks at the inauguration, the Registrar charged the Chairman and members of the Unit to work collaboratively with relevant government agencies, stressing the importance of sincerity, justice, transparency, and accountability in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He noted that the ACTU plays a critical role in promoting ethical standards and public trust within the Board.
Representing the top management of the Board, Mr. Abdulmalik Saidu, Assistant Director, Reform Coordination and Service Improvement, and Hajia Salamat Queen Jimah, Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts, urged the committee members to remain objective and impartial in carrying out their duties. They emphasized that the establishment of the Unit is aimed at enhancing HRORBN’s integrity, operational efficiency, and quality of service delivery.
In his vote of thanks, the Chairman of the ACTU, Abubakar Magaji Giddandiko, expressed appreciation to the management for the confidence reposed in the committee and assured that the Unit would carry out its mandate with fairness, diligence, and integrity.
